Clean your skin of Dark Spots with this Natural Treatments

 

 

 

If you are worried about dark spots on your skin you can use this simple and natural treatments to reduce your dark spots at home at cost free !!

Dark spot or Hyper Pigmentation are caused by sun exposure. Melanocytes cell production increases and this results in skin darkening. These dark spots are also termed as brown spots, sun spots, age spots, liver spots, aging signs in some cases.


Lemon Juice

Lemon juice acts as an organic bleaching agent because of its natural acidity property, which helps you in lightening the dark spots on your skin. Lemons have vitamin C that can lighten dark spots on your face. Squeeze out the extract of lemon on a cotton ball and rub it directly on the affected skin area. . Let it rest for about half an hour and then wash it off with plain water. Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for at least two weeks to two months to get the desired result.

One more option to remove brown spots is to apply lemon juice with some sugar dissolved in it on to the affected skin area. Leave it on for about half an hour and then wash it off with water. This way you can even remove age spots as well.

If you have delicate or sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with plain water, rosewater, or honey. You can also use lime juice to get rid of black spots, applying it in the same manner as described above.

Buttermilk

The lactic acid in buttermilk contains alpha hydroxyl acid. Since this is a natural acid, it is good for the skin.

Buttermilk also helps fade blemishes and black spots but without causing burning sensation like lemon juice. Get 4 teaspoons of buttermilk, add 2 teaspoons of fresh tomato juice and mix the ingredients, when the mixture is well combined apply it on your face gently. (If you are having oily skin or acne then, add a little lemon juice to the buttermilk before applying). Let it stay for 15 minutes and then wash it with water.

The lactic acid in milk too, will gradually reduce skin pigmentation, and brighten and tone your overall skin complexion. So, if you do not have buttermilk, simply apply soak a cotton ball in milk and dab it directly on your spots.


Oats

Oats is not only a good food but it also works as a medicine to treat black spots, acne marks, or pimple scars on the face. Oatmeal powder is considered good for skin exfoliation. Hence, you can apply an oatmeal mask on your face and neck to remove dead skin and black spots.

Grind ½ cup of rolled oats, add 3 – 4 tablespoons of lemon juice to make a paste. Add the mixture on your skin – when its dried wash it with lukewarm water. Use this treatment twice every week for best results


Almonds

Take 8-10 almonds and put them in milk overnight. In the morning peel off the skin and grind the almonds. Add 1 teaspoon sandalwood powder and ½ teaspoon honey to the mixture and stir them to make fine paste which you will apply it on your face. Let it stay for 30 minutes and then wash it with lukewarm water.
