Vincent van Gogh’s “Starry Night” painting is one of the most iconic works of art of all-time.
Made in June 1889, it’s a beautiful and stunning depiction of the night sky.
Van Gogh drew it while looking out the east window of the Saint-Rémy-de-Provence asylum
One artist decided to pay homage to van Gogh’s masterpiece, but rather than draw the art on canvas, he went a step further.
Needless to say, the result is simply stunning.
Using dark water, pigments, and an ancient technique called ‘paper marbling’, the Turkish artist recreates the Starry Night.
He films the whole process from beginning to end, leaving the audience in awe with every flick of his paintbrush.
Watch the video and see how he recreates this stunning work of art on water. It’s mesmerizing!
